Fund Raising for Canossian Foundation

This fund-raising program, inspired by Sister Marie Remedios, was started in June 2004 for Canossian missions in Sudan and other needy countries.

Projects undertaken by the Canossian Daughters of Charity:

1. In El Obeid, Sudan:

Building and operating a centre for the promotion of poor Sudanese women.

2. In Kerala, South India:
   Building an orphanage for the little orphans who come to the city and need a secure home, food, medical assistance and education.
3. In Kisangani, Congo:
   Furnishing a multi-purpose hall and a library to be used by the poor adolescents and youth who come from the war-ridden areas of Congo.
4. In Encarnacion, Paraguay:
   Providing education and medical assistance to under-nourished children between 0-10 years.
