Tourism Toronto is pleased to announce Alice Au has been promoted to Director of Sales, International Meetings and Events.
Alice has held the position of Account Director, Canadian Associations at Tourism Toronto for the past 2 years, and was recognized as MCIT's top performer in 2005. Prior to Tourism Toronto, Alice dedicated 20 years to the Hotel industry and gained tremendous experience throughout the GTA. Her hospitality background comes from various positions within operations, catering, and sales. She is an active member of the MPI and CSAE Ottawa Chapters, and has had strong ties with NACE, having held the position of President of the Toronto Chapter for 4 years.
Fluent in English, French and Cantonese, Alice can personally convey Toronto's story to a broad range of markets. Her role will support Toronto in being a premier global destination in overseas markets. Alice will certainly compliment Toronto's existing partnership with the MTCC, and its strategy within the International sector to ultimately deliver greater value to its community.
